Located in Cottonwood Falls, Kansas, this waterfall 🌊 is definitely one of Kansas's hidden gems if you can believe that 🤷🏾♂️. My wife & I had just finished checking out 3 previous waterfalls in Kansas and was heading home 🚗💨💨 when we spotted a river from the road 🛣️. We decided to take a side road which appeared to lead straight to it & low and behold was this beautiful waterfall below!!! 🤩🤩🤩 . The waterfall 🌊 itself is actually apart of a damn that was built in 1860 when the river bed was dry due to a severe drought. It's sole purpose was to provide power to a saw & grist mill which has since been closed since 1906.
