Located in Cottonwood Falls, Kansas, this waterfall π is definitely one of Kansas's hidden gems if you can believe that π€·πΎβοΈ. My wife & I had just finished checking out 3 previous waterfalls in Kansas and was heading home ππ¨π¨ when we spotted a river from the road π£οΈ. We decided to take a side road which appeared to lead straight to it & low and behold was this beautiful waterfall below!!! π€©π€©π€©

The waterfall π itself is actually apart of a damn that was built in 1860 when the river bed was dry due to a severe drought. It's sole purpose was to provide power to a saw & grist mill which has since been closed since 1906.
